"Gay Christian"? No!

Before you read this please know that God loves all of us... at the same time God makes a way out, a way of forgiveness and strength so we can stop sinning and with the sin forgiven and gone the guilt goes away. This is because God in the form of human flesh, as Jesus Christ, died for us, even though none of us deserved his dying for us. None of us deserved His dying for you and me. God, Jesus loved you that much!
After 3 days Jesus rose from the grave and is now in Heaven praying for us. Now unto the main points of my post.

Gay Christian"? No! Gay is not Christian and Christians are not homosexuals!

Google Ads promised to only put what is appropriate on my blog.
A "Gay Christian" website is not appropriate for those of us who are Biblical Christians. I have sent a message to Google and now I am re-editing because it appears that Google Ads has now removed the "Gay Christian" link from my site.

I am thankful for this.
However since it has already got me thinking about this I am still going to put this post up for all to read!


There really is no such thing as a practicing homosexual that is also a Christian.
That would be like a person into practicing Pagan religions claiming to be Christian.
The act of practicing either paganism or homosexuality/lesbianism makes such individuals not Biblical Christian therefore there really are no such thing as "Gay Christians" in the homosexual sense.

In fact homosexuality/lesbianism is not only against the Bible but also unnatural. If animals did not mate with their opposite sex they would all die out.


The Bible calls all sexual sin, sin.
In the Old Testament scriptures; God told Moses certain sins like idolatry
(which usually included sexual sin and/or human sacrifice) as well as all bestiality and homosexuality were abominations and required those involved to be stoned to death.
Those that were caught committing adultery would also be stoned to death under the Mosaic Law.

I am not advocating violence.
In fact when the religious leaders of Jesus day, took a woman caught in adultery to Him,
and mentioned stoning, Jesus reply was to tell them;
"He that is without sin cast the fist stone"

Slowly the religious leaders, left one at a time starting with the oldest first
until there was none left except the woman and Jesus.
Jesus asked the woman "Where are your accusers?".
Her answer was to the affect "None of them are left. My Lord".
Jesus told her; "Neither do I accuse you".
Now that is not an excuse to continue to be active in sexual sin
because then Jesus told the woman "to go and sin no more".
In other words do not sin anymore, do not be active sexually sex
unless it is with your husband and if not married, wait until you are married.

If it was a homosexual/lesbian he would have told that person "to go and sin no more" which would also mean stop being sexually active and even to stop all unnatural relationships of the same sex including to stop dating the same sex.

Now a few things:
As Jesus forgave the woman caught in adultery,
Jesus still forgives adulterers, fornicators, homosexuals and lesbians.
Once forgiving repentance is involved the turning away from that sin.
Sometimes instead of trying to become the complete opposite (like immediately dating the opposie sex); it might be best to just abstain from any thing that could possibly lead to temptation of your recent past sinful lifestyle and to spend lots of time in God's Word and the Bible. also helpful is to find a church that has a pastor or elder that is willing to help you in your spiritual change and spiritual growth.
The Bible promises that Jesus Christ, God's Word (the Holy Bible) , and the Holy Spirit will transform us, transform you.
The longer you live for Jesus, the more you fellowship with Bible-believing Christians, the more you read your Bible, the more you pray, the more you resist sin and resist temptations then the more your mind will become Christ-like and the weaker your past sinful habits will become in you life.... the easier it will become to resist sin and to resist temptation.

I know this is true because in 1975 I was depressed, bitter, angry, depressed, border-line suicidal, into the occult, and on top of all that reality was beginning to become a blur until I attended a prayer meeting in June 1975. In that summer of 1975; I went from cursing God and cursing Christians to praising God in a few weeks and thanking Jesus for His goodness before the summer was over. If Jesus can change me then he can change anyone. And oh yeah, reality became clearer and my depression was healed and the anger and bitterness left.
There were many other wonderful changes Jesus made in my life which started in the summer of 1975.

"Mistakes" & "Sin"; the difference is crucial

In a writers group we were discussing different kinds of struggles and I started to write about "mistakes and sin" in one of my replies but realized it did not apply to our discussion.
At the same time, though, I realized this topic of "mistakes and sin" is an important issue in the church world so I cut and pasted it into my MS Notebook, to be used later.


"Mistakes" & "Sin";
the difference is crucial


I hope my using the word sin does not offend any body.
I have noticed the last few years that some preachers are even saying words like "mistakes" instead of calling sin, sin.

If I innocently give wrong change that is a mistake.
If I were to purposely distract and confuse a cashier then claim that I gave a larger bill so as to get back more change then I deserve; that is sin. It is the sin of lying, of dishonesty, and of stealing.
I have never done that but I have heard stories of that.

If I am discussing something that I did or went through and get some details wrong because I do not remember clearly that is a mistake.
If I purposely exaggerate how good something is to make myself look better or even intentionally exaggerate how bad something is to get sympathy, either way it is deception which is sin and not "just a mistake".

This post a brief but important thought.

Conclusion:

Not all mistakes need to be repented of
but ALL SIN requires sincere REPENTANCE.

Jesus forgives those with a repentful heart.
Read Psalm 51.
Look up what John the Baptizer preached.
Use your concordance and look up words like
repent,
repentful,
repentance,
and repenting

Any person doing a word study on repent and the different forms of that Word will see for Jesus to forgive us we need to acknowledge our sin not only as mistakes but as sin.
We can not repent of sin that we refuse to acknowledge.

Thank God that even as Christians if we do stumble then (when we repent) Jesus is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us.

If we confess our sins,
he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9 KJV

Pray for churches to hold to Bible Holiness

An article I received by e-mail about another denomination accepting homosexuality is a very serious issue. My following comments are a result of that article.

The article follows my comments if you would like more details.
If you think this is an important issue please copy and paste this whole post into your e-mail.
Don't worry about it if you lose the Bold emphasis. The important thing is for this message to stand against sexual sin and to PRAY for All Christian Church leaders!


Now here are my comments:

Please understand just like the Episcopil church is split over the homosexual issue....
I am sure the same is true of the Lutheran church.
There are godly leaders and godly members in BOTH religious organizations.


All sin before and outside of marriage between a man and woman is sin.
The Bible speaks against all sexual sin.
The Holy Bible informs us that fornication is sin.
It also informs us that homosexuality and lesbianism is sin.


We need to PRAY for ALL religious leaders
not just our own local churches,
not just our own denominations.

Because the more churches and church organizations that accept sin as OK, the more pressure to compromise upon any organization and any Pastor who stands to Bible holiness and preaches against sexual sin (as they should) especially those who preach correctly against perversions such as homosexuality.


PASTORS, BISHOPS, ELDERS, EVANGELISTS, BIBLE TEACHERS
STAND STRONG FOR GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS!

Thank you to all of the Pastors, Ministers and Bible Teachers who are taking a godly stand against sin.
Keep preaching against ALL SIN!

Sex and a Lutheran Youth Group

How do they do it? I mean, how can the leadership of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) tell their kids with a straight face not to be sexually active outside of marriage when they've just voted last Saturday to no longer enforce the celibacy requirement for their unmarried staff-- both straight and gay?

The ELCA and other pro-gay denominations have been ordaining gays for decades. That's nothing new. What's new is that now staff can openly have lovers while on the job and there will be no disciplinary action for violating the celibacy requirement.

The message to the kids is loud and clear: We can have sex with our boyfriends and girlfriends, but you can't.


What hypocrisy.


This is what happens when sin and the Bible collide: either the Bible will change the sin or the sin will change the Bible. In this case, it's homosexual passion that's changing the Bible. Not only have they decided, essentially, to rewrite the Bible and declare homosexuality no longer a sin, but now they've gone beyond that to include fornication too. Adultery can't be far behind. Look for other liberal denominations to follow suit. So, this means an unmarried youth pastor can openly discuss the sex life he has with his boyfriend without fear of losing his job, while at the same time supposedly providing spiritual leadership to teenagers and counseling them
to "wait until marriage"?


Maybe Lutheran parents should be a little more concerned when their kids come home and say they want to be just like the youth pastor. Perhaps they should be a little more suspicious when their kids display a sudden new zeal to attend Lutheran youth camp.

Or, maybe they're not concerned at all about their kids being sexually active with the church's tacit permission.

Maybe they-- like the entire denomination-- have just given up on the whole "try-not-to-sin" thing. Our kids are going to do it anyway … we can't stop them … all we can do is be "responsible" and try to prevent them from getting AIDS or getting pregnant … what we really need to do is provide them condoms-- just like we do with our adults.


Who needs moral purity when you can have such tolerance and understanding?


It used to be that girls were sometimes deterred from being sexually promiscuous in high school out of fear of getting a bad "reputation." Now an entire denomination has a well-deserved bad reputation.


I looked around on the official ELCA Web site for what they teach their children about sexuality.

Here's what I found on a page entitled,
"Sexuality: Some Common Convictions." •
Under
"Responsible procreation and parenting"
I found the following:
Youth need the support and guidance of the church to resist cultural and peer pressures that encourage sexual intercourse prior to marriage. Open and honest discussion of sexual questions is to be encouraged, in ways that communicate God's guidance, forgiveness, and ongoing care. As a church, we affirm the importance of education about sexuality that emphasizes respect, mutuality, responsibility, and abstinence outside of marriage. But, why should you try to "resist the cultural and peer pressures that encourage sexual intercourse prior to marriage" and value "abstinence outside of marriage" when your leadership doesn't? Furthermore, does this statement imply anything short of intercourse is acceptable?

• Under "Promiscuity" I found:
Having casual sexual relations is sinful because this does not proceed from or contribute to respect, intimacy, and care of the other. Promiscuity is inconsistent with our identity as Christians
(1 Corinthians 6:12-20).
Being sexually active in order to be popular or only to gratify sexual desire is morally wrong.

And, for what purpose do you think ELCA staff members are sexually active
if not to "gratify sexual desire?"

I'm sure ELCA editors are already working on new copy for the Web page that will bring what's posted on the Web in line with what they actually believe-- i.e., that it's not "morally wrong." •

And, under
"Practices that spread sexually-transmitted diseases" there's this:
Irresponsible, unprotected sexual contact can expose sexual partners to incurable and fatal sexually-transmitted diseases. Sexual practices that result in physical harm to another are sinful and must be countered. Education about sexuality should emphasize monogamy, abstinence, and responsible sexual behavior, as well as practices intended to prevent the transmission of disease during sexual intercourse. This church supports efforts to prevent, cure, and care for those afflicted with such diseases. Let me translate. "For all our teens and adults, whether single or married, straight or gay, or laity or leadership, when you are sexually active we want you to always wear a condom." Apparently, that's the new ELCA standard for moral purity. Enough of those archaic notions of monogamy, fidelity and abstinence. It's simply been reduced to "be responsible-- wear a condom." Thank God that at the Missouri Synod there are still Lutherans who are also faithfully Christian.

Chapter 2:8 - 3:4


8 But thou, son of man,hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.
9 And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;
10 And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
3:1 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.


Lesson 7 Ezekiel 2:8 - 3:4

To review all of the lessons;
you might want to read and study the earlier lessons found in our Ezekiel Bible Study blog.

As was stated in previous lessons;
The Holy Spirit entered Ezekiel to give him the strength to
stand in God's awesome, mighty, Holy Presence.
The Holy Spirit will be helping Ezekiel to live up to his name
"strength of God". Even in Ezekiel's initial calling which
begins here in Ezekiel chapter 2 and continues into chapter 3.
Rebellious is a theme in verses 2 through 8 of how the people
of Israel are at this time and yet that is Ezekiel's commission
to go preach to them anyway.

Now on to this lesson, Lesson #7
God tells Ezekiel to eat the scroll, the book that is filled with mournings and woe. John in Revelation (10:9-11) also ate a scroll given from God. It is one thing to speak about God and about His Word, it is another thing to proclaim the anointed Holy Word of God, popular or not! To proclaim an anointed Word that God has put on your heart is even more powerful then sharing a little from our head knowledge of God's Word.
That is what Ezekiel and John both had to do.
Proclaim the Word of God that became a part of them.
No wonder Jeremiah, said he could not be quiet because
God's Word burned within his soul.
When you have an anointed Word from God, it will burn in your Spirit until you have to share what God is saying. If not behind the pulpit then in Sunday school, if not that then at a church supper, if now within church then share with your family, your co-workers, your neighbors as God leads, or even perhaps sahring through blogs and/or internet groups. Often times an anointed prophetic message needs to be shared again and again because it is a message for many in your church, in the church world.
Often, it is a message for many in your neighborhood, your town, your state or province even for many in your nation.
God still needs anointed prophets to speak out to the nations and the world as well as to the church world.
Too many (thank God not all) have laid aside the porophetic ministry that are messages for the l;eaders of the church world and for leaders in their own towns, states and nations.
Why? because often times many realize like Ezekiel in this chapter and Jeremiah weeping through his whole ministry, they might not be popular.

God's message through Ezekiel and many of His prophecies are going to be those of fire and brimstone, of repent or else and this to a rebellious people that most likely will mock Him for it. Yet Ezekiel is to eat all of it and then proclaim those warnings of God. Even in Revelation for John it hints at this.
For both Ezekiel and John the scroll was sweet as honey.
God's Word is sweet to believers and messewngers of God.
However sometimes to proclaim the mournings and woes of judgement are "bitter to our stomach" because our human nature does not want to be rejected and because if we, the messenger of God, the prophet of God, have the heart oif God then we will weep over the people's rebellion like Jesus wept over Jerusalem for rejecting Him.

Notice:
that He is to eat all of this scroll/book
and notice that there

"was written within and
without mournings and woes."

Two things:

1. We cannot heed and preach only part of God's Word BUT we need to take in, obey all and preach all of God's Word to be effective servants of God, especially in these Last Days.

2. The scroll/book was written within and without. There is no space to add our own ideas.
No space to add our own words and /or traditions. If we try to add our own traditions and ideas to God's message then we end up "denying the power of God" and end up with only a powerless form (imitation of godliness).


The Holy Spirit strengthens and enables us to go beyond our abilities and even beyond our natural courage.
The Apostle Peter denied our Lord Jesus 3 times yet after Peter was filled with the Holy Ghost he, Peter preached boldly to thousands.

I fear for America.
Not an ungodly fear but a godly fear and concern for America!
Some American Christians think of the rapture (the catching away of the saints) as an escape from the worst of the Last Days as an escape from persecution.
But if America does not repent as a people and as a nation,
America is headed for judgements worse then 9-11 and Hurricane Katrina combined.
Here in America, Canada and Europe: murder of unborn children is rampant, killing of the elderly is gaining (usually under the guise of a nurse or doctor accidentally(?) overdosing, sometimes more blatantly claiming it is merciful. There was nothing merciful about the way Terri Schiavo was starved and dehydrated to death for 2 weeks. If our suppoosedly civilized courts think that is justice.... then God have mercy on us ALL!
God's judgement is overdue!
Then on top of that sinful perversions are so accepted that many public schools are teaching children as young as kindergarten that homosexuality/lesbianism, cross-dressing etc. are normal.

In fact there is legislation in progress in Washington DC that would make it a hate crime to believe or speak against homosexuality. If it passes, and I wrote a Newsletter or article like this one I could go to jail for saying homsexuality is sinful.
Possibly in America there will be a wave of persecution before we are caught away in the air to be with Jesus. Possibly before the Great Tribulation starts.
Jesus said blessed are you when you are persecuted for my righteousness sake.
Those of us in the Western world have not yet seen real persecution like those who have been under Nazi rule, Communists regimes, ungodly dictatorships or under Muslim rule.
Judgement is coming to America unless more Christians interceed for our nation. And when that judgement comes physical persecution with arrests and torture will come to the Christians from by then a clearly ungodly government.

The good news is if most Christians would start interceeding for America and for all Christian churches, if all Christians realized they are also ministers for Jesus Christ and received the boldness of God' s Holy Ghost to witness the hope of salvation which Christ offers to those who repent, to witness boldness to speak of the power of God to deliver from all sin including God's power to deliver from the bondage of all sexual sins, from drugs and alcohol then it would be possible to see a powerful Last Days Revival poured out by God's Holy Spirit.
We need many iuntercessors for this.
Every historical revival started with believers praying and interceeding.


Dear Heavenly Father,

I pray that every reader of this lesson will heed to your word, eat (absorb) your Word into their Spirit and boldly proclaim your Word to those around them.

Lord, God,
I ask that by your Holy Spirit you inspire those who read this lesson to proclaim this message boldly and to forward this lesson to many of their family and friends.
God,
we pray for America, we pray that your anointing will come upon preachers teachers, ans all Christians that as we live for you we will be bolder through the power of the Holy Spirit to proclaim ALL of God's Word around us. God, please stir many up to be intercessors and proclaim what they hear from God before it is too late for us. Heavenly Father, we thank you that there is still hope and that you will answer us as we ask these things in faith, trusting anhd believing in you. We pray all of this in Jesus Name.

Are you Politically Correct or a True Bible-Believing Christian?

The true Bible-Beleveiing born-again Christian would not be politically correct.

The politically correct accept all kinds of abominations and sins as rights.
They accept murder of unborn children and call it choice.
They accept murder of the weak, sick, handicapped and elderly and call it "mercy killing".
They accept all kind of sexual abominations, like cross-dressing bi-sexuality, homosexuality, Lesbianism, and probably even bestiality and call it an "alternative life-style".
They encourage fornication and call it trying out a relationship amongst other labels.
They reject the teachings of the Bible and call their apostasy open-mindedness.

Many of them have lost all common sense.
They will give a dangerous violent religion like Islam more rights then us Christians if they had their way.
They give illegal immigrantss, law-breakers, criminals and murdeers more rights then the righteous law-abiding citizens.
Are you Politically Correct or a True Bible-Believing Christian?
